- I installed 5.0 and tried to load a 4.53 project. No go. Did a rescan.
- Whew, it looked like that worked. Tried to compile. Couldn't find any
- of the OWL header files! Went to TargetExpert, and the checkboxes for
- OWL (and others) had DISAPPEARED. Only the OCF checkbox remained. Oh
- boy. Closed the project and thought "hell, I'll just rebuild from
- scratch." Went to File | New to start a new AppExpert project, and the
- only choice presented was "text edit". Apparently the IDE has lost all
- knowledge of AppExpert, as well as OWL and other libraries. What's
- going on? I tried with and without the patch, also wiping and
- installing 5.0 all over again, to no avail. Pentium 100, Win95, 32 MB
- ram, plenty of disk space. Nothing I do brings back AppExpert ability or,
- more importantly, the ability to link the OWL libraries from the IDE.
- Anybody have any ideas? I'm really stuck.
